The inspiration for Curly Flat Vineyard was Phillip Moraghan's experiences in the wine regions of France and Switzerland . Completely enthralled by the Burgundy and Pinot Noir, Phillip and his wife Jeni shared the vision to nurture Curly Flat from a romantic ideal to awe-inspiring reality.
Already having received critical acclaim in Australia , Europe and the United States , Curly Flat Vineyard is now concentrating on consistently producing wines of the highest quality. Indications from subsequent vintages engender great confidence in their ability to do so. |
| Chardonnay 2001 |
Excellent palate weight and mouthfeel with flavours of roast almond, toasted oak and yeast lees dominant. Creamy texture followed by a very long spice, cashew, biscuit and yeast lees aftertaste with the spicy characteristic persisting. |
