The name Bress is derived from Bourg en Bresse, a town in the east of France , which produces the finest chickens in the world. The founder of ‘Bress Wines' Adam P Marks, dedicated his Yarra Valley wines to the famous chickens of Bourg en Bresse and what they represent – artisan production using traditional, age-old methods.

Chardonnay 2002

vibrant and pristine medium golden straw with green tinges, this wine offers a complex array of fruit aromas of grapefruit pith, citrus and hazelnuts. The oak aromas are of char and vanillian spice.


Heathcote Shiraz 2003

An intense and vibrant pungent crimson, almost ink blue colour. This wine offers a complex array of fruit aromas of prune, spice,cloves and plum, with oak aromas of char and vanillian spice. The oak characters have beautifully integrated into the wine, giving the wine structure and adding power, balance and a savoury richness.
 
 

Margaret River Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2005

 
  Pale golden straw with youthful green tinges, this wine offers a complex array of fruit aromas of pear, green skinned fruit, grapefruit, passionfruit and other tropical fuits. The finish is unctuous and well rounded.  

 

Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2004

 
 

Youthful, vibrant and deep garnet with a slight cloudienss, This wine has fruit flavours of plum, cherry and forest floor. The oak characters are integrated into the wine and add a savoury richness.

 

 

Harcourt Valley Riesling 2005

 
 

Pale golden straw with youthful green tinges, this wine is deliberately made as a sweeter style Riesling. It has very attractive Riesling flavours of marmalade, cinnamon spice and green skinned fruit.

 

 

Harcourt Valley Rose Cabernets 2005

 
 

Very pale salmon in colour, this wine offers a complex array of fruit aromas of strawberries, spice and green and red skinned fruits. The wine is made as dry style Rose, the finish is well rounded and has a lovely acid balance which ensures the wine has good length.
